Seasonal US employers filed enough petitions for H-2B visas to meet a statutory cap for the second half of fiscal year 2026, US Citizenship and Immigration Services said Friday.
The announcement means filing dates are available for 27,736 supplemental H-2B visas for jobs with start dates between April 1 through April 30th, the agency said. Filing dates are also available for another 18,490 supplemental visas for jobs with start dates between May 1 and Sept. 30, according to the statement.
