Employers Can Ease Transition Away From 9-to-5 Work Hours

Many see the disappearance of a traditional 9-to-5 working schedule, and there is much employers can do to make the change easier on employees.

“Instead of just tacking on extra hours, offer some sort of flexible option where workers can shift their schedule” and possibly avoid rush-hour traffic, Brie Reynolds, senior career specialist at Boulder, Colo.-based job board FlexJobs, told Bloomberg BNA in a July 26 email.
