Employer, Immigrant Groups Seek Temporary Halt to Visa Fee Hikes

Plaintiffs suing to block new immigration fee hikes have asked a US district court judge to enjoin the fee increases from taking effect in April.

A motion for a temporary restraining order filed in the US District Court for the District of Colorado Monday by a group of immigrant and employer groups argues that a pause on the new fee hikes should be issued in light of Congress’ intent in reauthorizing an investor visa program.
