The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission opened its platform for submitting workforce demographic data, giving employers five weeks to send in documents.
The data, submitted via the commission’s EE0-1 form, breaks down workforces by job category, sex, race, and ethnicity, among other categories. The requirement applies to businesses with more than 100 employees or federal contractors with more than 50 employees. Employers have from Tuesday to May 17 to submit the form, which should account for all full- and part-time workers during a particular pay period selected by the employer, according to the EEO-1 landing page.
