EEOC Wins Dismissal of Amazon Worker’s Disparate Impact Lawsuit

An Amazon.com driver lacked standing to sue the EEOC over its decision to stop investigating discrimination charges based on disparate impact legal theory, a federal judge ruled.

Leah Cross failed to show she “suffered a cognizable injury” from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission closing its investigation of her charge, Judge Trevor N. McFadden of the US District Court for the District of Columbia found Tuesday.
