EEOC Under Trump to Protect Workers From ‘Anti-American’ Bias

The EEOC will focus national-origin bias enforcement on companies it claims are prioritizing hiring immigrants and visa holders over workers who are American citizens, the agency said Wednesday.

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission will enforce Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act to end what Acting Chair Andrea Lucas said is a “large-scale problem” of “unlawful bias against American workers.”
