The EEOC asked a Texas federal court to force a company that distributes automotive and industrial parts to share information related to the agency’s investigation into nationwide discrimination against Black job candidates.
The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filed a subpoena enforcement action Thursday in the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas seeking to compel NAPA Auto Parts to share data and documents about its hiring and recruitment practices.
The investigation stems from a charge filed by Democratic Commissioner Kalpana Kotagal in May 2024.
