EEOC Sues Mayo Clinic Over Denial of Covid Shot Accommodations

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filed a federal discrimination lawsuit against the Mayo Clinic, alleging the health system violated civil rights law when it failed to grant a security guard a religious accommodation to its Covid-19 vaccine mandate.

The complaint, filed in the US District Court for the District of Minnesota Wednesday, said that providing an accommodation for Cody Schultz “would not have imposed an undue hardship on Mayo.”
