The US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission sued more than a dozen employers for not submitting mandatory reports that include the racial and gender makeups of their workforces.
The companies, which range from retailers to construction and manufacturing businesses, failed to file EEO-1 reports in 2021 and 2022, the civil rights agency alleged in 15 lawsuits filed in federal district courts across the nation.
