EEOC Seeks Northwestern Mutual’s DEI Information for Bias Probe

The EEOC asked a Wisconsin federal court to force Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co. to share information about its diversity practices as part of a discrimination investigation by the agency.

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filed the subpoena enforcement action in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin as it investigates a charge filed by a Northwestern Mutual compliance officer in March alleging the financial service company’s diversity, equity, and inclusion practices were discriminatory.
