EEOC Seeks Amazon Delivery Partner Data in Pregnancy Bias Probe

The EEOC is asking a court to order an Alabama-based delivery service partner for Amazon.com Inc. provide the agency information about a worker’s schedule and job descriptions as part of an investigation into potential pregnancy-based discrimination.

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filed the subpoena enforcement action in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana after the agency said JamRock Solutions LLC didn’t provide requested information it sought while investigating a charge that alleged the employer failed to accommodate a pregnant worker with a needed job change.
