The EEOC will implement a new four-year National Enforcement Plan, officially replacing a Biden-era guide for the agency’s priorities.
The plan published Thursday will be in effect through 2028 and states the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission will prioritize disparate treatment liability cases and combating what the administration sees as illegal diversity, equity, and inclusion programs.
The approved plan formally lays out litigation priorities for the commission under Chair Andrea Lucas, who has already shifted the agency’s enforcement towards diversity initiative scrutiny and a renewed focus on religious discrimination.
