The EEOC secured roughly $660 million for victims of employment discrimination in fiscal year 2025, the bulk of which came from pre-litigation enforcement, the agency said in an annual performance report.
The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission said its monetary recovery through mediation, conciliation, and settlements for the fiscal year that ended in September was up 12% from fiscal year 2024 and is the highest pre-litigation total in the agency’s 60-year history.
