EEOC Pay Data Portal to Open Mid-July, Close Sept. 30

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission will open its portal to begin collecting 2018 employee pay data in mid-July, following a judge’s order to revive the stayed Obama-era collection.

The data, part of an annual workforce data report known as the EEO-1, is due by Sept. 30, and the EEOC must inform employers by May 3 whether it will be collecting 2017 or 2019 pay data, Judge Tanya S. Chutkan of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia ruled April 25.
