EEOC Names Travis Nicholson as New Dallas District Director

Travis Nicholson has been appointed the new director of the Dallas district of the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the agency announced Tuesday.

Nicholson will supervise the EEOC’s work with state and local fair employment agencies that work with the EEOC to combat employment discrimination. He also will oversee and manage the EEOC’s work in over 200 counties in north, central, and west Texas, said the agency.

Nicholson leaves his position as deputy district director in Houston, Texas, where he was responsible for day-to-day operations, systemic investigations, and legal enforcement interaction, the EEOC said.
