EEOC Harassment Pact Gets $250,000 for In-Home Senior Caregivers

Joyvida LLC will pay $250,000, review its workplace policies, and provide employee training to resolve an EEOC lawsuit that accused the company of failing to protect senior-care employees from sexual harassment by clients and their family members under a deal approved by a Colorado federal judge.

The settlement applies to Joyvida facilities in Colorado Springs, Palmer Lake, and Lakewood and to other operations in locations for which the company provides services in Colorado, according to the parties’ consent decree.
