EEOC Harassment Case Against Nursing Facility Heads to Trial

An EEOC lawsuit over alleged sexual harassment and failure to approve medical leave for a nurse at an Illinois facility will move forward to trial, an Illinois federal judge said.

US District Court for the Southern District of Illinois Judge David Dugan on Wednesday denied Helia Healthcare of Salem, LLC’s motion for summary judgement in the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s discrimination case that included allegations of a supervisor slapping a nurse’s buttocks and attempting to kiss her.
