EEOC Finds Minimal Uptick in Tech of Black, Hispanic Workers

Black, Hispanic, and female workers are underrepresented in the technology workforce, despite some progress in the past few years to increase diversity in the industry, according to a new report from the EEOC.

Employees in high technology jobs regardless of industry, as well as in non-tech jobs within the technology sector, were less racially and ethnically diverse in 2022 when compared to minority representation in the total US workforce, according to the report released Wednesday.
