EEOC Denounces Violence Against Asian Workers, Pledges Action

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission will double down on its effort to combat workplace discrimination against Asian-Americans and workers of Asian descent, citing recent acts of violence and increased xenophobia related to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The five-member panel of the workplace civil rights agency unanimously approved a resolution detailing its plans, according to a Monday statement.
