EB-5 Enterprises Must Pay at Least $10,000 Into Integrity Fund

Regional centers participating in the EB-5 immigrant investor visa program will begin paying into a new integrity fund starting Thursday, the Department of Homeland Security announced.

The DHS’s US Citizenship and Immigration Services will collect an integrity fund fee to cover program administration as well as investigations of potential fraud. The fee implements part of a congressional reauthorization of the regional center program last year.

Enterprises with more than 20 investors will pay a fee of $20,000 annually, while those with 20 or fewer investors will pay $10,000, according to a Federal Register notice posted Wednesday.
