Dozens of NYC Agency Workers Fail in Vaccine Religious Bias Case

More than five dozen workers failed to allege that New York City government agencies discriminated against them when denying religious exemptions to Covid-19 vaccine requirements, but a sole worker’s bias claims can move forward, a federal judge said.

Nearly all of the workers failed to provide enough details about their religious beliefs, and without those details, they can’t claim that those beliefs are bona fide, so their discrimination claims fail, the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York said Wednesday.
