Douglas Elliman Fired Coordinator After Miscarriage, Suit Says

Douglas Elliman allegedly discriminated against a social media coordinator based on her sex and disability when it fired her shortly after disclosing a miscarriage, a new lawsuit in federal court says.

The real estate brokerage terminated Brittany Pra in December 2021, less than two weeks after she suffered a miscarriage, according to the complaint filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
