A California federal court said it will hear DoorDash’s request to halt a misclassification lawsuit pending a potential $39.5 million state-court settlement at the same time it considers the request to compel arbitration filed by nearly 6,000 couriers in the federal case.
DoorDash and the couriers agreed to argue their respective motions on Feb. 10, according to a scheduling order issued Jan. 17 by Judge William Alsup of the Northern District of California.
