Domino’s Avoids Union After NLRB Overturns Election Results

Domino’s Pizza will get a second chance to fight a union drive after the National Labor Relations Board tossed out the results of a successful vote to unionize a branch in Howard Beach, N.Y.

The board said in a 2-1 decision made public Dec. 18 that a Domino’s Pizza LLC supervisor’s unusual pro-union activity amounted to coercive conduct that interfered with the election. The supervisor, Radwon Hussin, threatened three employees with job loss if the union lost the election, according to the board.
