Dominion Wins Over Skeptics to Advance Virginia Wind Farm Plan

Dominion Energy Inc. struck a deal with a state regulator, environmentalists and an indigenous group to advance plans to build a large wind farm off the coast of Virginia.

Dominion’s agreement with the the State Corporation Commission, Nansemond Indian Nation and Sierra Club that settles all issues they raised for the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind project, including costs and environmental issues, according to a Wednesday legal filing.
