A proposed Labor Department regulation of the H-2A agricultural visa program is under review at the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs.
The agency sent the rule (RIN 1205-AC) to the White House regulatory office June 24 amid calls for the Trump administration to grant a reprieve to the farming industry from immigration worksite enforcement.
No further information about the rule was provided in the OIRA posting, and the DOL didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
