DOL Seeks Input on Goals, Focusing on Post-Virus Worker Rebound

The Biden administration is mapping out a longer-term U.S. Labor Department agenda by soliciting public comments on a general framework that will eventually form a strategic plan through 2026.

The DOL is crafting a more detailed document that will inject President Joe Biden’s priorities into how it carries out its mission over fiscal 2022-2026. The department is asking for input by Aug. 6 on how to implement a series of high-level goals, many of which are aligned with boosting U.S. workforce conditions and learning lessons from the pandemic.
