DOL, SEC Renew Memo of Understanding

Secretary of Labor Thomas E. Perez and Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Mary Jo White renewed a memorandum of understanding(MOU) on sharing of enforcement and other investigation information between the agencies, the Department of Labor announced in a July 31 statement

“The department views our work with the SEC on shared interests in recent years as a tremendous success. By renewing this memorandum of understanding, we will continue to better serve all of America’s workers who depend on private-sector retirement plans,” Phyllis C. Borzi, assistant labor secretary for DOL’s Employee Benefits Security Administration, said in the statement.
