DOL Proposes Federal Contractor Status Disclosure on LM-10 Form

The Department of Labor has proposed requiring certain employers who already have to file an LM-10 form to report their status as a federal contractor or subcontractor, according to a news release Monday.

Form LM-10, issued by the Office of Labor-Management Standards, requires employers to report agreements with consultants—and other payments and expenditures—made to persuade employees concerning their organizing and collective bargaining rights or to monitor the activities of employees and unions involved in a labor dispute with such employers, according to the DOL.
