A doctor who was fired because he pleaded guilty to soliciting a prostitute without telling his employer about the incident may keep the $17.5 million arbitration award he won from his employer, a Washington state court said June 24.
State law limited the court to look only at the face of the arbitration award, and the award was valid, the opinion by Judge David Mann of the Washington Court of Appeals said.
