Linguistics and computer science, landscape architecture, and six other other areas of study will be added to a list of approved fields for which F-1 visa holders can seek up to three years of post-graduate work eligibility in the US, according to a Federal Register notice.
The list of newly designated programs also includes institutional research; mechatronics, robotics, and automation Engineering technology; composite materials technology; developmental and adolescent psychology; geospatial intelligence; and demography and population studies, per the notice posted Tuesday by the Department of Homeland Security.
