DHS Considering Supplemental H-2B Seasonal Guest-Worker Visas

The Department of Homeland Security is “taking a very close look” at whether to issue supplemental H-2B seasonal guest-worker visas for the coming summer months.

DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said at a U.S. House hearing Wednesday that he’s been studying the program and considering whether the agency should release additional visas “with urgency,” noting the department has taken such action “many times in the past, usually in June.”
