A former California deputy district attorney who was transferred to less-prestigious courts after he published an op-ed about racism saw his First Amendment retaliation claim tossed by a federal court.
Daniel Chung failed to establish that the County of Santa Clara was liable for the alleged retaliation, the US District Court for the Northern District of California ruled Tuesday.
