Depressed AT&T Worker Denied Use of Service Dog Settles Suit

AT&T Mobility Services LLC and a senior specialist radio access networks engineer who says the employer unlawfully refused to alter his company vehicle so his service dog could ride with him as an accommodation for his mental health difficulties settled his lawsuit, Tennessee federal court records show.

The U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee Tuesday granted a motion by Wayne Schroeder and the company to stay a scheduled Jan. 18 trial date and other deadlines in the case.

The suit “has been resolved in principle,” according to the order.
