Democrats Want Biden to Ban Arbitration for Contractor Workers

Forty House Democrats are calling on President Joe Biden to ban the use of mandatory arbitration clauses for employees of federal contractors, arguing that the alternative resolution process deprives workers of the ability to seek justice in the workplace.

The lawmakers pressed Biden in a letter Thursday to use his authority under the Procurement Act to issue an executive order.
