Democrat Jocelyn Samuels Confirmed to Second EEOC Term (1)

The U.S. Senate voted 52-47 Wednesday to confirm Jocelyn Samuels, a Democrat, to a second U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission term that expires in 2026.

Samuels was first confirmed to serve on the commission in September, with her term slated to end in July. President Joe Biden announced his intent to nominate her for another stint on the workplace civil rights agency’s leadership panel in March.
