Delta Employees to Get New Uniforms After Safety Complaints

Delta Air Lines will move away from a controversial line of employee uniforms following multiple class actions and pressure from labor unions to address safety and health concerns.

More than 24,000 flight attendants and thousands more customer service agents will receive new garments as soon as late 2021, the company said in an internal email. The message from In-Flight Service Senior Vice President Allison Ausband was subsequently shared online by the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA, one of two unions actively trying to organize Delta flight attendants.
