Deloitte Rolls Out AI Tool for Handling Legal Documents

Deloitte, the largest of the Big Four accounting and consulting firms, said Tuesday that it was launching a new artificial intelligence document handling tool on the platforms of legal software-maker Relativity.

The software solution, called NavigAite, will be available on the RelativityOne and Relativity Server. It helps clients with document summaries, personally identifiable information, and contract review, Deloitte said. It works with large language models, of which OpenAI’s ChatGPT is the best-known example, that have application program interfaces. The firm said the secure document review would “help increase review velocity and reduce human review effort.”
