Deloitte Beats Part of Consultant’s Pregnancy, Cancer Bias Case

Deloitte Consulting LLP defeated claims that it discriminated against a worker after she received a cancer diagnosis, but her multiple pregnancy bias claims are headed for trial, a federal judge said Friday.

The Deloitte LLP subsidiary doesn’t have to face the worker’s disability discrimination and retaliation claims because she isn’t a US citizen and those claims arose after she left to live in a different country, the US District Court for the Southern District of New York said.
