Delivery Truck Drivers Nab Final Nod for $1.1 Million Wage Deal

Two delivery firms and the truck drivers who work for them secured final approval for a more than $1.1 million settlement resolving the workers’ wage-and-hour allegations, a federal judge said Thursday.

The deal follows more than five years of litigation and recovers more than $3,200 on average for each of the approximately 200 class members participating in the settlement, the workers told the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois Wednesday. Chief Judge Virginia M. Kendall signed off on the deal one day after the workers filed their final approval documents.
