Access to affordable primary care and chronic disease prevention will improve under legislation approved by a House panel, an official with a group that represents large employer health plans said.

The Bipartisan HSA Improvement Act (H.R. 5688) would allow employers to offer more robust services without jeopardizing employees’ ability to contribute to health savings accounts, Ilyse Schuman, senior vice president of health policy for the American Benefits Council, said in an interview Friday.
