Deaf JetBlue Worker Gets Trial Over Move Back to Ticket Counter

JetBlue Airways Corp. defeated several bias claims by a hearing-impaired former crewmember but a jury must decide if it should’ve allowed him to work just at the ticketing counter, a Boston federal judge ruled.

A trial could show it would’ve been a reasonable accommodation to move Jonathan Ozek back to ticketing after his hearing limitations caused difficulties and allegedly raised safety concerns while he was assigned to gate duties, the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts said Thursday.
