Day & Zimmerman, Calpine Must Face Black Worker’s Race Bias Suit

A Black electrical worker can pursue his lawsuit alleging he experienced racial harassment at a Pennsylvania Calpine Corp. facility, was fired for bogus reasons, and was smeared to other employers, a federal judge in Philadelphia ruled.

Everett L. Myers stated plausible claims against both Calpine and Day & Zimmerman Group Inc., the staffing agency that assigned him to the Delta, Pa., power plant, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania said Monday.
