Alden Short Inc. and Hinson Jennings LLC will pay $85,000 to settle a national origin harassment lawsuit filed by the EEOC, the agency said Thursday.
The owner and president and the chief operating officer allegedly subjected three Hispanic female employees to a hostile work environment by making comments to them about their heritage, parents, and children referencing their national origin, the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission said.
