DACA Recipient Struggles to Revive Bias Suit Against ExxonMobil

A Mexican citizen in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program faced a skeptical federal appeals court in Richmond, Va., in his bid to revive his job discrimination suit against ExxonMobil Corp. over an offer he alleged was rescinded because of his alienage and citizenship status.

DACA recipient Aldo De Leon Resendiz was one of several plaintiffs who cited the US Supreme Court’s June 2021 ruling in Bostock v. Clayton County, Ga., to bolster their discrimination claims.
