CWA Members Reject Contract Offer From AT&T Southeast for 22,000 Workers

Members of Communications Workers of America District 3 have voted against a tentative three-year agreement for 22,000 workers in the AT&T Southeast Region, the company announced Sept. 28.

The union negotiating team had recommended ratification of the tentative agreement reached Aug. 6 (152 DLR A-12, 8/7/12). The rejected proposal would have covered workers in AT&T’s core wireline business in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.

A CWA representative was not available for comment.
