CVS Pharmacy Inc. will pay $2.35 million to settle claims by 720 pharmacists in California who say they weren’t paid overtime as required by state law when they worked more than six consecutive days, according to a settlement agreement that received final court approval March 10 (Uppal v. CVS Pharmacy, Inc., N.D. Cal., 3:14-cv-02629, final settlement approval 3/10/16).
