Courts Lack Jurisdiction to Review Agency Green Card Decisions

A graduate medical student lost his bid to challenge the denial of his green card application after a federal appeals court in Washington found there’s no judicial review of such decisions.

The lack of jurisdiction over government adjustment of status decisions was the plain meaning of the US Supreme Court’s 2022 ruling in Patel v. Garland, the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit said Friday.
