A North Dakota federal judge approved a joint request from a Christian employer group and the EEOC to halt proceedings in a case challenging a pair of key Biden-era commission policies.
Judge Daniel Hovland of the US District Court for North Dakota granted the motion for a stay in the Christian Employers Alliance challenge over the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s Pregnant Workers Fairness Act rules and its anti-harassment guidance.
Both the rules and guidance have been partly vacated by courts already, and are being rescinded and rewritten by the EEOC under Republican leadership.
