Convenience Store Chain Casey’s Fails to Trim Worker Wage Suit

Casey’s General Stores Inc. lost its bid to get some workers’ wage-and-hour allegations dismissed after a federal judge said the company’s personal jurisdiction argument was “premature.”

The convenience store chain argued that there’s no specific personal jurisdiction over the potential claims of employees who neither worked nor lived in Illinois, but it’s too early in the litigation to decide that issue, the US District Court for the Southern District of Illinois said.
